Extension Leads

Powersafe manufactures a range of single-phase earth screen leads or braided leads.

The braid is a safety device or safety mechanism in the event that the lead is cut or crushed. It essentially means that you are cutting into earth as opposed to cutting into the active or neutral, potentially electrocuting yourself.

We also manufacture our own plugs and sockets for the simple reasons we needed to have a gland that was big enough to handle the size of the cable.  Plus, we wanted to enhance the tensile strength and the crimping mechanism to make sure that the cable is not pulled out of the plug and socket.

The braided lead comes in both 1.5 and 2.5 for high draw applications and in multiple lengths up to 30 metres
